Caitlin was born and raised in Arizona where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Science and Technology from Northern Arizona University. During her time there she also earned her certificate as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. She worked as an SLPA for 6 years in the clinical, home health, and private practice settings. She provided services to individuals from 2-21 years old presenting with a variety of diagnoses. Her experience has an emphasis on articulation disorders, language disorders, and social communication difficulties. She has planned and led social groups that focus on conversation, structured social activities, and social scenario role play for children 4-12 years old.
Caitlin completed her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology at Midwestern University in 2022. There she focused on the diagnostic and assessment process of communication disorders, as well as many therapeutic theories and modalities to best support the children and families she serves. Caitlin believes it is important to not only support the children she sees in therapy, but also to provide the family with tools and resources to best support them in their home.
