Chloe earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and minored in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. She continued at Arizona State University to earn her Master of Science in Communication Disorders. During her undergraduate career, Chloe obtained her license as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) completing training in the pediatric and adult populations. She completed graduate level training across various settings including school-based placements, acute rehabilitation, and cleft and craniofacial clinics.
Chloe worked for eight years at a K-12 independent day school as a Speech Language Pathologist, Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, and SLPA supervisor. During this time, she gained extensive experience in assessment, multi-disciplinary consultation, individual therapy, and group therapy. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of articulation disorders, social communication difficulties, executive functioning impairments, receptive/expressive language disorders, and reading intervention.
In addition to holding a license as a certified Speech Language Pathologist, Chloe holds a certificate as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (W.D.P.). As a W.D.P., Chloe teaches the Wilson Reading System which uses a multisensory, systematic approach for those with language based learning disabilities. This Tier 3 structured literacy program places an emphasis on improving phonemic, morphological, and orthographic awareness.
Above all, Chloe believes in a holistic, team based approach to support functional communication through individualized therapy materials, research-based methods, and supportive strategies for caregivers.
