Haley Myers, M.S., CF-SLP

Certified Speech Language Pathologist

Haley earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. During her undergraduate career, Haley worked as a research assistant investigating the receptive and expressive language skills of adults with and without developmental disorders. While living in Tucson, she worked at the Child Language Center to integrate early intervention techniques for children with speech and language disorders in a preschool classroom setting. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2014, Haley began working as a licensed speech and language pathology assistant providing home-based therapy services to individuals with a variety of diagnoses. Additionally, she worked at a K-12 independent day school catering to children with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties.

In 2018, Haley was featured in North Central Parenting Group magazine on her expertise in the area of working memory and student success. She has been trained by the Lindamood-Bell Corporation in the Visualizing and Verbalizing ProgramĀ® and has attended numerous Social ThinkingĀ® workshops for developing pragmatic language presented by Michelle Garcia Winner. While in graduate school, Haley was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and received training in the assessment and treatment of oral motor disorders and traumatic brain injuries. She completed her clinical practicum at Gentry PBS. In 2020, Haley completed comprehensive training for the essential elements for high-quality speech telepractice.

While working in the private practice setting, Haley has gained experience in differential diagnosis of speech and language disorders in children of all ages. She specializes in creating unique speech and language materials used in therapy, as well as implementing research-based methods and innovative programming to support progress in each child. Haley is passionate about working with children to improve all aspects of communication and is devoted to providing parents with strategies to help their children at home.
